Whether it’s a Thanksgiving feast or a Memorial Day barbecue, you can count on Sunrise to make the holidays count and turn an everyday occasion like a birthday into a celebration.  At Sunrise, we appreciate the importance of people getting together and having a great time. 

Great Food
We view holidays as an occasion to pull out all the stops.  Our chefs search their recipe books for dishes that really capture the essence of the occasion, whether it’s a succulent roast with all the fixings for Christmas Day or tasty bratwurst and burgers for the Fourth of July.  We even plan special menus for St. Patrick’s Day, Columbus Day, and that perennial favorite, Valentine’s Day.

It's Your Party
And, of course, you are always welcome to invite your family and friends to dine with you and join in these celebrations.  Since many of our communities feature private dining rooms, you can host your own family celebration, whether it’s a holiday, an anniversary, or a birthday.  Consult with our menu planner—and we’ll cater the festivities for you.

Commemorating All Thise Special Occasions
Many of our communities take advantage of New Year’s Eve to organize a dinner dance.  The entertainment may not quite be up to Guy Lombardo’s standards, but you can be certain that everyone will have an enjoyable time welcoming in the new year.  We also give more solemn occasions their due, for instance organizing community-wide ceremonies commemorating the sacrifice of our men and women in the military on Veterans Day. 

But we don’t wait for a special occasion to celebrate.  Friends and neighbors get together at our happy hours, and we make a particular point of highlighting all our residents’ birthdays. 

Celebrating Individuality and Community
At Sunrise, one of our Principles of Service is celebrating individuality. But we also make a point of celebrating community and promoting the bonds of affection that arise when people share their experiences.
