Country Ribs - Sunrise Style

Here’s a recipe for country ribs that’s a universal favorite at Sunrise communities.

Country Ribs

  • Fresh country-style beef ribs ~5lbs or 12 - 14 ribs
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ cups chopped onions
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup tomato paste
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard (or regular mustard)
  • 1½ cups water
  • ¼ teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Preparation notes:
  • Rinse the beef ribs, place them in a baking dish, pour sauce over them, and marinate periodically.
  • Cook at 350º F for 2½ hours.
  • Makes 12–14 country-style beef ribs.
